Men's Health

Men's health is not as taboo as in recent years and tends to focus on areas such as prostate cancer, cardiovascular health and effective stress management. Men are known to take better care of their car or favorite technology than their health. This is attributed to a lack of awareness and often times busy lifestyle. The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) reports that men face a higher incidence of alcohol related deaths and hospitalizations as compared to women. Conversely, the NIH (The National Institute of Mental Health) reports 6 million men are affected by depression and mental health disorders.

Manage Stress

Effectively managing stress for Men is attributed to biological, social and behavioral factors. This includes participating in activities that is enjoyed, verbalizing feelings, and getting adequate rest. Taking part is regular check ups and screenings can also make ailments easier to treat in the event a problem arises. This promotes social, physical and mental well being.

Regular health screenings

Heart disease, (the number one cause of stress in the US), prostate and mental health are key areas of concern in Men's health. For optimal health, a proactive approach within these areas can decrease the incidence of disease and related cancers.
